I thought I would tell you a little about myself so you will know who you are dealing with.
I went to school in Berkeley during the tumultuous late '60s. I have lived in South Tahoe since 1977 and have been a full time Realtor since 1986. I am married and had two grown daughters. One worked as the office manager for my wife in her property management business here in Tahoe until her untimely death at the age of 27 on 9/11/06. The other finished up her second major at UC Berkeley and is now teaching middle school, special education in Oakland and studying for medical school entrance exams.
I have been very active in the South Lake Tahoe community, including serving the Board of Realtors as it's President, MLS Chair and Treasurer. Among many other awards I received the coveted REALTOR Of The Year award way back in 1989. Additionally, I served on the South Lake Tahoe City Council for 8.5 years including a term as Mayor of South Lake Tahoe. I was also the Chair of the South Tahoe Redevelopment Agency and the Tahoe Transportation District for many years as well as serving on other governing boards like the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and the California Tahoe Conservancy. During the Presidential Summit of July 1997 I met with both President Clinton and Vice President Gore to discuss the Lake Tahoe economy and environment.
Although I enjoyed serving my community as an elected official I decided to get my life back and concentrate my energy on serving my clients personally. I am proud of receiving the Quality Service award for extremely satisfied clients many years in a row as well as receiving Centurion or Masters Awards for production for many years as well.
I am now affiliated with Chase International at Chase International South Tahoe Realty. Chase is THE premier real estate company in the Tahoe/Reno area offering $1,000,000 service to EVERY client.
If you would like help from one who really knows Tahoe please call or E-mail me today. I look forward to helping you personally. I would like to be your Realtor here in Tahoe.
Sincerely,
Kevin Cole
